Thursday Barks And Bytes

The co-hosts for Barks And Bytes are Linda from 2browndawgs and Jodi from Heart Like A Dog. Thank you for having this hop!
The Barks:
It was time for Glory’s yearly vet visit. Everything went great. Her exam was normal, her weight was up by 3# but that is ok she is still a good weight and she will loose that just as soon as the snow goes away and she gets back into spring training. She had her elbows xray’ed for her OFA (Orthopedic Foundation For Animals). She had her blood drawn for her yearly heartworm test along with updating her DHLPP, Bordetella and Lyme vaccines. She is good to go for another year.
Weigh in which was 73#.

I finally got around to putting the pencil drawing that Debbie Stonebraker from Stonebraker Art did of Glory for the Pink Whistle Society. I really should have it framed and matted but for now this will do.

I finally got to the store to get some Jones Natural Chews so the gang had fun chomping on their femur bones.

Glad everything went well at the vet’s! We have to make a visit back soon to get stitches removed:) I love that last picture. It is absolutely precious!

I wanted to reach out to my fellow bloggers and ask for their assistance! I am participating in a fundraiser called Pledge For Pets and we are helping raise donations for the Animal Protective League. If you can help us and make a donation, here is the link: We are not asking everyone to empty their wallets, but even a $5 donation can help make the difference in an animals life, and it helps them find their forever home! If you can help, we would appreciate it greatly! Hugs from our two rescued dogs!

I’m glad you only got good news from the vet, Glory! I have my appointment on monday, any suggestions for a flash-diet? I love Gamblers “pillow”, the picture of him and MK is just great!

LOL silly MK. Thanks so much for joining Barks and Bytes. Glad Glory’s check up went well and she got to play doctor at the clinic. 🙂 Lucky doggies with yummy bones! The picture is wonderful!

I’m so glad Glory’s appointment went well. It’s always nice to have those things out of the way and know everything is good.
Oh my goodness….I thought our cat Samantha was way patient with Luke….but MK is amazing!

Looks like Glory didn’t mind the Vet visit too much and she really looks like she enjoyed her femur bone. Our dogs get one for holidays and birthdays but maybe if we gave one for the Vet, they wouldn’t mind it so much.
Love the sketch of Glory … it is beautiful.
