This is the last post that I found sitting in my drafts folder. I bought this Dirty Dog Doormat early spring also as I wanted to get something that I could put in the kennels in the car to help keep the water and dirt to a minimum. I had great reviews on these mats from other chessie owners so I bought three.
I put the mat down on the floor it wasn’t long Glory and Gambler had to check it out and sat right down on it. I have to confess they loved laying on them so much that I only took one out the the car kennel and the other two are in my living room. The dogs think it is great to lay on while we are hanging out watching TV. I have washed them many times and they have held up really nicely. I do like the one in the car as I used it all summer long when training Gambler. It contained the water and dirt nicely. I would defiantly get more of these. I bought this on amazon.
This was a post I wrote many months ago and I found sitting in my drafts folder. Since I am away in Canada hunting I thought I would just post it up since all my posts are pre empted.
It is a kitty turd patrol kind of day. While the gang was out in the yard playing MK comes running through out of no where’s. Since she was running Gambler thought he should follow her and then all of a sudden she popped a squat.
I have to use the lew now!

How about I just cover it up?
Always remember to scoop your doggy poop as well as your kitty poop if they go outside. Intestinal parasites are a human health risk and more so if you have children around as their hygiene isn’t as good as adults. Besides being a human health risk, intestinal parasites can be passed back and forth between animals. It’s a good idea to have your pooch on year round Heartworm medication as each month besides preventing Heartworm disease it will deworm your pooch monthly (depending on which type of medication you use) against roundworms, hookworms, whipworms and tapeworms. Even know you use a monthly Heartworm medication you should still scoop that poop!

Today we are in Saskatchewan for the next week. I was blessed to have gotten to take Norman with us hunting when we went to Saskatchewan. He loved to haul in the big geese and I loved watching him do it. Norman is again with me this year as he is in a shotgun shell again to be released into the wheat field so he can enjoy each trip with us.
Preacher is having fun getting her exercise playing in the kiddy pool. She has really taken to the water so it wasn’t had to get her in there to wade around chase bubbles and get in some leg exercise.

I was shopping yesterday at Festival Foods and just happened to walk past the magazines. Since I haven’t been able to find the Badger Sportsman magazine I told you about that Gambler, Glory and Riley are in I stopped to see if they had it. Low and behold they had it! I was super excited and bought all five copies.
Last night I was looking at the pictures and had a wonderful surprise. I saw a picture of Norman in there. I didn’t see that picture when I was looking at the article on line. Justin submitted that one. It was one of Normans last early goose hunts he went on with me.
It was a great hunt we got 17 geese. I love how Norman keeps potting in on me.

Dove hunting started September 1st. September has been a very warm month so when we had time to take the dogs out hunting it was really too hot to be doing anything. We took them dove hunting but all I shot was some pictures of the dogs.

It’s Tuesday and not Monday right? Monday was yesterday so that meant it was Monday Mischief blog hop day right? You all are correct yesterday was Monday Mischief day and Preacher was the subject of the mischief. Well that pissed Gambler off and he wanted to be the center of attention as he usually is on Mondays.
So we had a little Gambler mischief this weekend that I will tell you about on Tuesday.

Dog Shaming!
In Gamblers defense I did move his kennel closer to the washer so I could put Preachers kennel in line with his and Glory’s so really it must be my fault since I know how destructive Gambler is but really I was only gone 7 minutes!
Now the day after Turkey Day needs to get here so I can get another comforter on sale like I did this one.
I can see it now Gambler is going to try and out do Preacher each week, it might cost me a lot of money!
