When I was out shopping for the supplies for our Saskatchewan Snow Goose Hunt I made sure I picked up some Pro Plan Sport ReFuel Bars for the dogs. Puppy Banana Peanut Butter Kong/Paw Pops

Since the puppies have left the nest Preacher is all by herself and time for her to be crate trained. She wasn’t too fond of the crate the first couple of times I put her in it. I thought I should give her something to do while she was in there to keep her mind off being crated. I made some banana peanut butter snackies.

I took a couple of banana’s mixed peanut butter with them until nice and creamy I then stuffed a kong toy froze it and put it in her crate for her. It kept her busy since it was frozen she really had to work at getting it out ( forgot the pictures of this part).

I then put the mixture in my paw print mold put it in the freezer and made some paw pops for the gang to snack on while outside on a hot day.

Preacher thought her first tasty treat was awesome. She didn’t know what paw pop to eat first. Little did she know she only got two then she had to share with the rest of the gang.

You can tell by her ears she loved them and wanted more.

On a side note I have to give a big shout out to my bestie on the east coast, this weekend Amy her family and Chesapeake Poppy went to a dock diving event. Poppy did great during the two days and received her AKC Junior Dock Diving Title. This is Poppy’s first title at 8 months of age. Amy said they are hooked! Great job Poppy go get that next level title.

Puppy Pack From @Chewy.com

Look what our good friends at Chewy.com sent for the puppies. They got their very own puppy pack! What a nice surprise it was to open this Chewy box, it was packed full of toys, chewys and treats everything a puppy or should I say puppies need to keep them busy and out of mischief.

First the puppies checked out the box of goodness, once they found out what was in there they were on it like flies on poop! They made sure they pulled out all the tissue paper because that was in the way, they hauled out the toys and thought they should eat some of the packing paper that came with the treats.

They had more fun then you can imagine playing and eating all the cool stuff. As you can see from the pictures they loved the toys very much. They picked them up immediately and played with them.

They were only five weeks old when I gave them the soft treats and they had no problem eating them. They were soft enough you could break them into pieces or you could just give them the whole thing. You do need to be careful and not give too many at one time because it may cause diarrhea which I found out the hard way. They were all sitting cute and doing cute begging jesters I just had to keep giving them the treats and boy oh boy was there a big mess the next morning.

Thunder Nuzzles Glory From Afar

Book Review Prezzies And A Treat

 If you like a story about dogs this book is for you. I just happen to know Bentley & Pierre from their mom/grandma’s blog Barking From The Bayou. I’ve been following the blog from the beginning so I’ve really gotten to know them both, so when reading this book I really felt like I was “there” as I’m like yup that is something Bentley would say and yup that is something Pierre would do. It was fun to read what mischief they were going to get into. I also thought it was cool that their was a Gman in the book since that is what I call Gambler. The book kept me on my toes and I couldn’t wait to turn the pages to find out what was going to happen.

Here’s what The Return’s is about, taken from their website:

Since it is Gamblers Birthday week, he thought he should get the treats as they must of been for him.

Riley’s Organics Peanut Butter and Molasses treats.

The gang loved them!!! I like how they are small, would be great treat for training as it is small and must be chuck full of flavor because the gang went ga ga over them.
