9 years ago today Gambler blessed us with his presents in life. Oh what a blessing it as been (cough, cough….lol). It’s been a up and down ride for sure and one I would do again.

Gamblers been a clown his whole entire life, he makes us laugh with his antics and he makes me cry with his antics. I love that he is a clown as it makes for the perfect therapy dog to cheer up all the kids that he visits.

He will do most anything I ask of him. He loves his photo taken so he will just sit there and let me do what I need to do.

He has been my best competition dog, from hunt tests to trick dog he amazes me. He is my first dog to get multiple titles on outside of field work, he is my dock diver, my rally obedience, my trick dog, my canine good citizen, my farm dog, my temperament dog, my everything dog plus my hunter and best friend.

Gambler went along hunt test training today, he didn’t get to run but he got to get out of the truck and find the duck that wandered off after John missed it, yes you heard me right Johnny Bones Senior missed a duck which doesn’t ever happen.

Gambler was more than willing to help out a guy in need.

He’s my go to guy when I need a crippled or escaped duck found.

He has a few more grey furs but for the most part he is no worse for wear.

I hope there are many more clowning around days ahead for ya buddy.

We would like to also wish Gambler’s brother and sisters that are still with us a very Happy Birthday as well. Norman and Fatty did well when they hooked up and gave us these little devils….always an adventure for sure and of the good kind!
