12 more days left before the little brown burr heads make their presents in this world. Glory is due to have her puppies Feb 6-7th, 2016. She is coming along quite nicely and looking very pregnant right now. I took her for a walk this past weekend which she really enjoyed.
Here are some pictures I took of her.
According to WhelpHelp: The dam might lose her appetite during this peroid. Her abdomen can be crowded with puppies. 2 to 3 smaller meals spaced throughout the day will help the dam due to the pressure from the growing puppies. Abdominal movement should be easily detected. She may have a clear discharge from her vagina, which is normal. Any sign of a dark or green coloured discharge should be checked by your veterinarian immediately. The dam may become a bit restless and begin to search for a suitable place to have her puppies. The dam should be introduced to her whelping box.
Glory’s new whelping box should arrive Tuesday so Wednesday I can put it together and have her get used to it.
Hope they come early and come on the 5th! That’s my hubby’s birthday! DakotasDen
Look out Preacher. You’re not going to be the puppy of the house anymore!
what … just 12 days and the super cute brown dawgs will enter this world? I cross my paws that efurrything goes well and that the new box is there before the puppies…and maybe they really come on 2/5 so Dakotas dad can be the godfather of your pups Glory :o)
We’re pushing for two days early. Feb 4th and they’ll share a birthday with another dog – me!
Geez, that is fast. Seems like you just found out she is pregnant. How exciting!
She looks great. Can’t wait for those puppy pictures.
Oh my gosh, the time is flying…I can’t believe it’s so close! Momma is looking very good and healthy!
I know that it is just my imagination, but this pregnancy seems to have flown by. I can’t believe they will be here in less than two weeks. ♥
Glory really does look in top form.
It won’t be long now!
