This weekend the SS gang went to their first AKC hunt test of the year. Guilty and Riggs were entered in a double junior event in Horicon, WI put on by host club WISAM Field Trial Club. They were entered Saturday and Sunday. John was the handler both days. They both did great on Saturday bringing home their first passes. On Sunday only Riggs brought home a ribbon. Guilty had trouble on a long water mark. She was trying to out think the mark and was trying to find the fastest way to the bird without having to swim. In doing that she failed to make it out the whole way to retrieve the bird and failed. All in all it was a great weekend getting out and hanging with friends again and watching dogs run.

Riggs really did well with his two passes as he only began his hunt test training 4 months ago at the age of 17 months, and that training has only been maybe twice a week. We have another double junior hunt test coming up this next weekend.
