Black And White Sunday~Remembering Those Who Have Fallen

Gambler and I visited the Grand River Veterans Memorial in Markesan, WI. This is the town where I grew up. My dad was a Vietnam Veteran so I went there to visit his brick and to remember all those who have fallen. That statue used to be in a park right next to my house where I would go often and play and I was fascinated with that statue and would just stare at it. I’m so glad they moved it and put it in this special memorial.

  The park really did turn out nice, nice place to go and just sit and while your there you can go visit a patient in the nursing home as it is right next door.
