Just in time for decorating your tree with DIY Paw Print Ornaments. I saw this on House Woof Facebook page so I just had to share it and of course I had to make them.
Thursday 12:45 p.m. I need to add to this post that excess salt intake can be toxic to your pet or child. I got carried away with the fun of this project and post I totally forgot about the harm these ornaments could cause if ingested. Gambler of course eats everything, gets into everything and he was just fine but I was made aware that someones beloved pet died from eating a ornament and I am ever so sorry for that family. Here is a poster my pals at HWDB made after being aware of the toxic effects.
These were easy and fun to make. I’ll have to do it again and get Gambler a new ornament.
My pals at House Woof posted up the dog on the left and I thought it looked pretty cool that I could make my own. Mine is the one on the right, how do you think I did? 😉
House Woof has some great deals going on the month of December!

What fun. I bet MK was thrilled with paw printing. I don’t think Nestle would cooperate. Gman is leading little Preacher astray! Your ornament looks just like the model. Exactly the same. 😉 Thanks so much for joining the hop. Love the header.
Easy was thrilled as he saw how G-man ate his ornament… but I will do it too, that’s a super idea for Easy’s weim-tree :o) I like your ornament, it looks special and this is sure a brown dawg :o)
OMGOMGOMG I love this!!!!!!!!
BTW – adorable header too!

thank you! I finally know how to change the header!
I LOVE THIS!
You’ve got lots of paws to make ornaments with!
I was planning on making these tonight but the recipe that I have has the temp set at 275° for ten minutes. That is a lot different than your baking time so now I’m confused. LOL!
hmmmm, even at 200 my cookie prints were so thick they were still doughy so I kept them in for 3 hours. that’s a long time, I like your time better.
What a fun idea! I am going to have to try this!
What a wonderful idea!
That photo of G-man in your header made me chuckle…well actually LOL. Love him. He takes his modeling career very serious doesn’t he.
hahahaha he does! when I get the camera out he comes running and sits down and won’t move! lol
Those are so cute! I guess that is a lot of salt in them though, and would probably be far worse if some little dog ate them than big dogs like yours.
