Over the 4th we took a trip up to Minnesota to visit our friends that have Pearl who is from Nellie’s first litter. She is going to be 9 this Christmas. We go snow goose hunting each fall to Saskatchewan with Pearl and her owner Mike.
Pearl wanted to get to above John’s level to give him a kiss.

Gambler was up first.
Next up was Glory.
Preacher even went off the dock. She was out running around with Gambler so I tossed the dummy out into the lake so Gambler ran down the dock and jumped in, Preacher was right on his tail and followed him in the water jumping off the dock for the first time. I don’t think she even had time to wonder what she was doing. She got back up on the dock and did it again.
Guilty’s turn.
Guilty and Nellie just swam and jumped in from shore, Nellie is too old be be jumping off the dock that high and Guilty is too little right now. One day she will be doing it just like the big dogs. The dogs sure do love the water!
A great time was had by all.
I tried it once, which probably looked funny with me, but I didn’t like it. I prefer to walk into the water and then swim. Looks like a lot of fun!
