Our Get Fit With Your Pet Month started last Saturday, the Sand Spring gang participated in the first ever Move Your Mutt-A-Thon put on by PetsMove.
#1 was going for a walk for me and a run/walk/grabass for the dogs. We started out at our house and walked through the snow, through the pine trees, through the marsh and then through the pasture back to our house again. This took about 40 minutes. While doing this I took some photos and video. Gambler and Glory had each grabbed a ball to carry along with during our outing. Nellie stole Glory’s red ball in the beginning of our walk and ran back to the house with it. I had to do all I could to call Nellie and have her come back and join the walk. She left the ball by the house so there was only one ball going on our walk and Gambler didn’t give it up very often.

I had a great time getting ready for the Mutt-A-Thon and participating in it, to be honest because of it I got out and did something with my dogs otherwise in this snow and cold I usually don’t do anything. You and the ‘crew’ did a great job. Those dogs had a great time out there, as we can all see in the pictures! Keep it up, your dogs will thank you for it.

Snow much fun! We love the snow so much too. That pic of Gman flying over Glory is awesome. We saw your videos after the mutt a thon. That was a fun event, just getting good video walking can be difficult for us.
