The Sand Spring gang finally got out to brave the freezing cold crunchy snow weather. We took a run down to the creek to see what was happening down there. We had to cross our marsh to get there. For their exercise I brought along 3 pink bumpers and threw them in the wide open so they had to go get them. Gambler and Glory would bring theirs back to me so I would throw the bumpers farther so we eventually made it to the creek while they would run back and forth retrieving them. Nellie is not a fan of exercise so she would just stand on her bumper but she is also a bumper hog so she would run and steal someone else’s bumper and haul it back to her’s and create a pile. This made more work for me because I had to walk out of my way to go get them from her to throw again so I was getting exercise with them.

It’s great to see your photos! Mom is with Nellie, she isn’t a fan of exercising :o) btw: first I thought Gambler has something on his leg (pic 519), but as I enlarged the picture I saw it clearly :o) it was really cold outside, I think :o)
Love that you are out in the snow! Poor Nelly, she needs to hang out with my mom. Laziness is not tolerated. We all learned that as puppies. Sometimes we still try to be lazy, but Mom won’t have it, we have to move our furry behinds 🙂 She says exercise means we can eat more snacks, so we are good with the plan.

There’s always one that has their own version of the game, or doesn’t want to play at all! 🙂 At least that made it so you got moving more too, that’s the only way to stay warm in this weather! Glad you all got out there.
