Black And White Sunday
This wasn’t the exact color picture from BAW Sunday but one similar to it. Before I changed it to black and white I forgot to copy it.
Monday Mischief~Gman And The Rug
MISS HARPER LEE says:
I think Gambler’s just testing your retrieving skills when he leaves the rug out for you to pick up!
Yes yes he is, he very rarely picks it back up and brings it back into the house.
SLIMDOGGY (@MYSLIMDOGGY) says:
That’s so funny with the rug in his mouth. Our Sally was like that – always had to have something in her mouth – especially during the “homecoming parade”. Usually it was just one of her toys, but sometimes she had to make do with whatever was closest to the door.

GIZMOGEODOG says:
That is too funny…My Lab was never without something in her mouth to greet me, but not a rug…WTG G-Man!
&
2BROWNDAWGS says:
LOL G-man.
Freighter does the exact same thing. He does it when he gets out of his crate and when he comes in from outside. It makes me kind of nuts because they are my good rugs….lol. Thunder used to grab a shoe if I took them off when coming in. Freighter obviously has been talking to your pups!
Yes indeed they do a “homecoming parade” each one will grab something. They get let outside right when we get home so they run outside then turn around and run back in and grab something then run outside again. Those retrievers always have to have something in their mouths! That’s what they were bred for!
Dock Diving~Ultimate Air Dog
MISTY SHORES CHESAPEAKES says:
Great job guys! Looks like so much fun
It was a lot of fun. Once the dogs got the hang of it they would run up the stairs do their jump then swim to the ramp and you didn’t even have to meet them at the ramp they would go up and over the ramp and up the stairs to do it all over again.
CAREN, DAKOTA AND CODY says:
great job Gambler! Those are some amazing jumps!
I thought it was amazing that he started out at 3 ft and ended at 18.3 ft. That is a big improvement for only jumping a few times.
HEART LIKE A DOG (@HEARTLIKEADOG) says:
That’s awesome! I always thought Delilah would be good at it. We did some throwing and jumping at my sister’s pool but that night she had pain in her back and I’ve been afraid to jump her since. I will have to live vicariously through you and your dogs.
I would be afraid to jump after a bought of back pain to. No sense hurting them, back pains can be literally a pain in the ass so why do it. I often wonder how many dogs get hurt doing that.
JACKIE BOUCHARD says:
Cute! Looks like he wanted to play Aladdin and go for a magic carpet ride!
The way he fly’s around with or without the rug I think he is trying to play Aladdin a lot!

Wordless Wednesday~Norman Update
CLOWIE says:
I love it when we go to the lake! That first photograph is brilliant – I love the way the water is splashing.
I love water splashing photo’s, they are my favorite water photos.

OZ THE TERRIER says:
What a lovely way to remember Norman. I never knew that Norman was the breed profile photo on WKC’s site. That is so cool!
OZ, Dyane from Pond Hollow Chesapeakes submitted that picture of Norman for the Westminster website. Dyane used Norman as a stud for one of her bitches back in 2010, the puppies were due around Christmas. I got a call from Dyane to tell me that there was only one puppy and it had passed away. My heart was heartbroken as I was waiting for this litter as I was finally going to get my little Norman boy. So at that time she told me the news that she submitted Norman’s picture and it was chosen to be the picture for the breed profile on the About Dogs page on the Westminster Kennel Club website. My heart was breaking and then it was being put back together again as Norman would be seen by millions of people and that would make me smile. They don’t give credit or tell who the dog is in the picture but I know it is Norman and that is all that counts!
That sums it up for this week’s FUF. I hope you all have a great weekend.

Thank you glad to hop on fuf i love them!
Glad that you got your badge done and I could help in some little way! I must have missed the post about the air jumping. That is awesome! Shiloh and Summer were quite the jumpers. In fact, Summer would get on the diving board and jump in! She was one of a kind:) Hope you have a great weekend!
Diving board that is too cool.
Wow, I’m so behind on my reading that I missed the jumping post entirely. Awesome! Have a great weekend!
Thank you hope your weekend was great.
I love the water retrieval thingy. Ultimate Air Dog? When I was a kid, I remember watching something very like that in Biloxi, MS.
Thank you. Uad is fun
So glad I got some internet connection in time for a FOF catchup. Been feeling completely lost without any access but have a tiny bit of pre-paid time now and a FOF is a wonderful way for me to get an idea of what’s been going on.
Glad you stopped by. Miss you.. Hugs
Great wrapup…Love that “splash” photo! And you’re very welcome…hope the tutorials work for you
Thank you!
Excellent FUF. I know its Norman on the Westminster site too. 🙂 I love that picture of him that you made into B&W. I am glad you figured out how to make the badge. 🙂 We are working on Freighter with the rugs, because it makes me nuts!
Thank you
