Wordless Wednesday~ Senior Pet Month
Let’s all give some extra lovin to our senior pets.
Sooooo….I went to the computer repair place and they totaled up what it would cost to fix my computer and they said it would be around $250.00. My computer is 2 years old so I told them I could get a new one for a little bit more so I opted to take my computer home and wait for the day it blows. Until then I will shop around for a new one.
A little of that:
I forgot to tell you all that when we took a xray of MK’s bladder I got her broken leg in the picture to see how it healed. The femur bones didn’t line up end to end which we thought wouldn’t happen unless I had her leg pinned. The bones got close and fused together. You can’t even tell she had a broken leg.
Picture at time of break.
Picture 2.5 months later. Pretty cool hun? just get the bones close and they will fuse together.
That’s it for FUF. Have a great weekend.

hoping MK is feeling better today! Great about the fusion!
The tongue photos are HILARIOUS. And it’s so good to see the healed bone!
So what exactly is wrong with your computer? Have you called the local tech school and talked to the computer science department? They may be able to help you.
I get a warning that the hard disk is in danger of failing. The fan doesn’t work on it anymore. When I do a hard disk check it comes up with fail.
Great follow up! Very cool xray photo!
Thanks for joining FUF! I loved the tongue pictures. Sampson had a toy like that when he was small…..I wonder what happened to it? I’ll have to look.
Very cool about MK but why were you x-raying her bladder?
That x-ray gives me the shivers! That looks like it was a really bad break. Amazing how the body can heal itself.
OMD, love the tongue pic! And the smiling with watermelon rinds! So cute – I would’ve never thought of that! They’re doing a great job of just “smiling” with them instead of trying to chomp on them!
That first x-ray is horrible! It looks like such bad break! I can’t believe it just fused together kind of side-by-side without having to be lined up and pinned. Did the vet say that was okay? I guess if she still walks well, then it’s okay. Our bodies (human and animal) are amazing.
Yup, my boss (the vet) said she would be fine. She doesn’t limp at all. She is doing really well.
So glad MK’s leg is better. That break looked painful. Good thing it fused back together. We like the tongue pics too and the pics with the watermelon rinds. If our mommy gave us watermelon rinds we would chew them up!
That picture of the team with the watermelon is priceless. Looks like they have big smiles on their faces. Well done.
Thank you
That fecal scoring chart is interesting 🙂
Oh wow that is really cool about MK’s leg. Sorry to hear about your computer. Luckily you have time to back up the important stuff. 🙂
