Yesterday marked Gambler’s 100 pet therapy visits. We do our pet therapy visits on Wednesdays. I visit 4 schools through out the day. I rotate dogs, sometimes it’s Gambler, sometimes it’s Glory and sometimes it’s Guilty. For the most part it is usually Gambler as the girls have heat cycles or puppies that keep them out of therapy. Gambler is really good with the kids and he loves going so I’m proud to say we will be earning the AKC Therapy Dog Advanced Title (THDA) for completing 100 visits.
This young lady got to read to Gambler on his 100 pet therapy visit. Gambler was showing his brother Slammer the ropes on how to be a good R.E.A.D. dog.
The kids in Mr. Pawlisch’s 5th grade class made very special cards for Gambler and I on this 100 visit day. The 5th grade doesn’t read to Gambler but they get to visit with him before the R.E.A.D. kids come in to read. They know all about him and love to give him pets before they leave school for the day. These kids rock as they did the same thing for his 50 visit title. Gambler still has all his cards in his memory chest. Thanks Tom for making this 100 visit day special! Now time to reach the 200 visit title.
Congratulations on 100, and that you seem to enjoy it.
Congratulations on reaching this milestone! It is definitely something to be proud of. Everyone looks so happy, especially Gambler! ♥
What a pawsome milestone! Congratulations on this achievement, here’s to the next đŸ’¯.
Congrats! Showing the pup the ropes. He looks so happy!
What a wonderful accomplishment! I wish someone had brought dogs to our library when I worked at the local high school. Congratulations!!!
oh I had no clue that your friend is a teacher (have the kids seen his brace adventure? LOL) Happy 100 to the g-man and all the best for the little one, who can learn everything from the best!
Congratulations!
