Last week Glory laid low because her eggs (if pregnant) were implanting so we let her rest so we didn’t disturb the implanting of the eggs. Saturday was a rain day so the girls didn’t get outside but to go potty and come back in. Sunday was another story. Since it was just the girls I took them down to the creek for some playtime and exercise. Glory needs to keep active so she doesn’t gain excess weight while not training and becoming a momma (we hope).
They had a blast running and jumping in the creek, playing keep away with the bumpers and chasing each other.
You can see the girls had a blast playing and got some real nice exercise in too. They both took a nice nap that afternoon.
A Glory update: I took her to work with me yesterday to have my boss palpate her to see if she could feel any puppies. Unfortunately we couldn’t get a 100% conformation that she is pregnant. My boss felt her uterus which you can’t do normally so that might be a good sign or it could mean she is in a false pregnancy. She was just a little to chubby to get a good feel. She isn’t eating like she should which is another good sign but again might be hormones from a false pregnancy. I have a ultrasound set up for Monday afternoon so we will get our answer then. I will post up the results on Tuesday. Hopefully it will be a very happy post and not a sad one like last time. Paws crossed!!
