Guilty’s Cage Match

Guilty VS Cage match, who do you think won?

The cage.

Guilty

The cage match was not a planned event last Tuesday evening. John came home from work first, he went to let the dogs out of their crates and Guilty started charging the front of the crate like she normally does (trying to break her of this nasty habit). She was jumping up and down barking and then all of a sudden her bark changed and she couldn’t come out. Her paw got stuck on the wire part of the crate. It poked a hole in the top of her paw and was holding her hostage. She was having no part of John helping her, she was biting and cursing at him while he tried to get her paw unstuck. Finally her paw just came off of the crate and she was free. John thought she ripped right through the webbing on her paw. She was lucky and she didn’t rip her webbing just a hole on the top.

Hole in top of Guilty’s paw.

The surgery went well, Guilty just needed a good cleaning and 2 staples put in her paw. She was no worse for ware. It hasn’t slowed her down at all.

So the question of the day is…. Who Won??

I would say the crate won this cage match!

Bailie broke out of her crate at nose work class a couple times when she was a puppy, but otherwise, none of us ever try to get out. We are content to hang out. Glad nothing worst happened to her paw. I guess she needs a padded cell!
