Gambler and Glory have started their hunt test training. The snow is finally gone and the weather has been warmer so they have been out and about training. It was a long winter with some brutal cold temps so I hate to admit it they didn’t get the exercise they should of this winter. Glory gained some extra pounds so she needs to get her running muscle back on, Gambler gained a few pounds also but I wanted him to gain some as he has always been a really lean dog so now I think he looks great at 75#. Gambler is a high energy dog and is always on the move, he has a different build than Glory so he kept his muscle over the winter and kept his stamina also. A few weeks of continuous training and Glory will get her stamina back also.

You can see the sheer joy in Glory’s eyes being out training again. We hope to run our first Hunt Test in early May. Glory needs one more AKC Senior pass that I would like to get on her for her title before I breed her in May/June.

Glad the weather has been more cooperative for your pack’s training lately! I love Glory’s last photo ~ and gosh! Look at her nice, clean pearlies!!
Oh yes the look on Glory’s face, she is one very happy girl! After this long cold winter they are probably so happy to be able to get out and RUN like the wind 🙂
The G-dogs looks so intent and happy being able to run and train! The winter left me with a few pounds as well, maybe I should try some of that training! 🙂
We are back in training mode too. We did not do as much as normal over the winter either. It was so darn cold. Love the pictures, especially the ones that are your favorites. 🙂

I’m sure it felt SO good for everyone to get back out there training! We haven’t gotten the exercise we’ve needed here this winter either. Hopefully our weather will finally break also so we can do more.

I love those pictures. I wish there was a sport that Delilah really enjoyed. I’d love to have her expel some of her energy.
