This is another post I found sitting in my drafts folder.
I was planning ahead this past spring and bought another orange vest for the SS gang for when hunting season rolls around they will have it when needed.
I got this Kurgo vest after Hawk over at Browndogcbr and 2browndawgs reviewed it.
Gambler trying it on to make sure it fits before hunting season.
Fits just fine.
Usually I put a orange vest on the dogs when it is gun deer hunting season in WI as I often take the dogs pheasant hunting on public property when other hunters are out hunting. I want my dogs to be seen and not mistaken for other animals when out hunting. I think this vest is going to work just fine.
We are joining Linda at 2browndawgs and Jodi at Heart Like A Dog for this great blog hop.
We have a different brand we use them for walking in the dark, since we aren’t hunters. We would be too afraid to go into fields where there was any kind of hunting going on.
Safety first! I have an orange reflective vest too. I use it when we have a hurricane and lose power so I can be seen on or nighttime walks.
Oz
I may just head over and get one of these for Booth! We always worry during deer season and this looks like it would work perfect.
I’ve often wondered about this. It seems that dogs should all wear a hunter’s orange in the woods for safety. I hope that y’all are having a great time hunting.
Looks like a good reflective vest.
We love Kurgo products!
Cataracts form a blue cloud of varying degrees inside the capsule that holds the lens of the eye. Cataracts can progress very slowly over many years or they can come on very quickly, leading to blindness within a few days or weeks.
Look-ing good G-man, looking really good. Hope you’ve had a great week filling your bag with loads of feathers. 😉
We have some nice vests too or I also have some blaze orange bandanas which the dogs always wear on walks during hunting season around here, even if we don’t go deep in the woods.
Hi Y’all!
My Human has mine out already. We browndogs can easily be mistaken for deer.
Y’all come on by,
