While we were out for some exercise the other day before the deep freeze the gang and I was walking through the pasture to get back home when all of a sudden Nellie stopped, put her nose to the ground and started sniffing the dirt. Of course you can’t do anything without the Gman noticing so off he ran to see what Nellie was doing.
Gambler dug to china and no mouse, must of been a old hole.
Next mischief was went we went to feed the pheasants, of course Gambler has to scour the garden in hopes to find his friend the pheasant.
Better luck next time Gman, guess you better be sharper than the pheasant.

Oh, such innocent mischief on this Monday! BOL
cool, you nearly made it to France G-man… just a little more to the right side and we can connect our tunnels… and next year Santa should bring you a flying machine or an ack ack gun for that pheasant ….
At least G kept warm running. My fingers have been freezing when I stand still to shoot photos.
BOL close G-man!
We have mole holes in our backyard and my late canine sister Lexi used to love to dig down and retrieve (even though she was a terrier mix) those helpless little creatures. It did not make my mommy happy. She’s glad I didn’t pick up that disgusting little habit!
Awesome photographs, and being bad proves you can get great pics as proof!
You never know what they may pull out of a hole they’re digging, lol! Nice pics of the pheasant. 🙂
scary thought hey? thank you!
GMan sure looks happy chasing that bird!
couldn’t be happier then chasing birds.
My sisters and I have all attempted to chase flying birds, but realized, it is impossible to keep up. Now we have no interest in them.
it’s better that way
Those are some great pictures! Our pups are always intrigued by flying creatures who have the audacity to fly over their yard…BOL!
He’s pissed because he normally catches them.
BOL, Jack is like that…if he sees Maggie sniffing – he’s got to go stick his nose in it.
Yup all the time!
Did you ever get the mouse??
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
no mouse 🙁
Dang it is a shame when things elude you 😉 hugs Fozziemum xx
darn shame just ask gman
hAHAHAAH 😉
If only he could fly, too!
–Wags (and purrs) from Life with Dogs and Cats.
he wishes he could fly
Boy, Gman, you’re thorough – going after critters by land and by air. Now you just need to go after one in the water and you’ll have hit the trifecta! (Too bad you didn’t catch any critters for your efforts! Next time!)
Must have been a mischief kind of day. It was overcast and icy and little sprinkling, Aspen spent all day trying to get in trouble:)
You need a Doxie in the pack for full infiltration of those burrows! Just sayin’. 😉
Well, both were good tries, even though they didn’t find or catch anything this time. We bet it was fun trying!
Muddy holes must hold the best treasures! Pierre tries to dig in the mud and then run inside and roll on the carpet. Haha!
LOL brown dawgs would love to just happen on a pheasant! Too bad it escaped Gman!
Great photo stories 🙂
Thank you Sue.
