Gambler didn’t get the memo that Monday Mischief’s are done, gone, over with, kaput. He is still causing mischief on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Yup every single day he does something. Last weeks winner mischief move landed on Friday when I was down stairs cleaning up after the puppies I came upstairs to find my purse moved from the kitchen counter to the dog bed in the living room. Mr. Naughty Pants AKA Gambler likes to carry my purse around when I leave him alone and I’m guessing his partner in crime Preacher did the dirty work. I saw her chomping on something so dug in her mouth and found part of John’s paycheck. I found the other half on the floor, there was no saving it. Soooo…..to the wall of shame Gambler went.
Since Preacher isn’t into holding things yet and Gambler was the instigator he got to go with to John’s place of work and beg for another paycheck. Luckily they thought he was cute and cut me another check. I should of just did the picture deposit from my phone and not gave them the opportunity to get into mischief.
Now on to my question I posted on Facebook. Why is it when I am home and leave Gambler run free while I am busy doing other things does he act like a tornado and wreck the place and when I take him with me to go to barn hunt training and get groceries which contain meat and then have to run into another store for more groceries he leaves the meat bags alone and doesn’t wreck anything?
He was busy watching me come back that he didn’t touch any of the groceries, I was taking John’s paycheck in my hands and trusting Gambler that he wouldn’t cost us more money and eat the groceries.
He is such a goofball, that’s why I love him!
BOL! Oh, that Gambler is always up to something but eating a paycheck?!? That is a new one. We cannot stop laughing though, sorry. I am glad John’s work was understanding and cut you a new one.
I’m glad the people at your dad’s working place were so nice to give you a new check… imagine you had to wait till the parts of the check come back the natural way… think that would make a mockery of that saying: moneeh has no smell :o)
Eko did this once to me when he was a pup! They always go after the expensive stuff, even if it happens to be a piece of paper.
Oh gosh, I think dogs like G-Man are why banks created automatic deposit! Too funny. Hope you were able to either patch it up for deposit or get it replaced without too much falderal. 😉
I cannot believe that he didn’t eat any groceries! Bentley would have been hogging out if that were him. LOL! He did try to eat a $20 bill before though. LOL!
If his mischief ends, what would you blog about?
Goodness, good thing the cheque was from John’s workplace and could be replaced quickly! Outrageous fellow 😀
You really need to write a book about his antics, I think it would be a best seller!
Gambler your mischief is getting expensive…lol.
