Monday Mischief~3 Mischief’s In 1

Note to self: Self when say to yourself that Gambler is three now and he can be trusted in the house unattended remember the day he caused mischief.

One Saturday afternoon I thought I would give Gambler a chance at proofing he can be left out of his kennel when we are outside. I needed to mow the lawn and thought it would only be a hour or two so why not give him a try. All three dogs were running amuck in the house while I was out mowing. I could see Gambler looking out each window following me along as I mowed on different sides of the house I thought he was being a good boy….until I came in to check on him and this is what I saw!

Ripped up plastic everywhere's.

Ripped up plastic everywhere’s.

Gambler stole the buns off the counter and ripped up the plastic and who know’s who all helped in the eating of a whole package of buns.

The counter where the buns were.

Jumping over the couch with the buns.

I then decided I needed to clean the house since it was all disarrayed so I went about my vacuuming ignoring what was going on around me. When I turned around this is what I saw…

My new solvit pack on the floor.

With Gambler eating a bag of treats he dug out of it.

The treats were on this stand in the vacuum closet.

The bag is kept up high now.

After the house was cleaned, we decided to go outside and do the chores. We have a gopher living in our lawn so since I was watering the birds I took the hose over and watered the gopher. Wrong thing to do with Gambler around.

Come on out little gopher.

Come on out little gopher.

I said "get out here little gopher".

Why won't it come out and play?

Gambler piggy.

More digging.

Glory helping out.

I just can't stop until I get the gopher.

So it was a Saturday full of mischief and Gambler is now back in his kennel when we are gone or outside.

Oh my what a busy guy!!!! He was probably following you while you were working outside to see how much time they had left to eat those buns!!! What a character!

I give you full 4 paws Gambler, that was Mischief with a big “M”. I hope you got that gopher-guy, I mean that was a lot of work in the back yard… and if not, at least you and Glory had a fabulous mud-pack for endless beauty :o) btw: that was a smart idea to pop up on all windows to lull your mom into a sense of security…

The first time I trusted Brychwyn out for a short time he had a tug-o-war with one of the large, upholstered chairs. I will never trust him inside again. But mischief outside is a whole different story… how can you be mad at that adorable, muddy face? And he had to burn off the calories from the buns right?

Oh DEAR….I am laughing but really they do make you wonder hahaahah….at xmas time we all sat outside (we have hot weather here then ) enjoying our xmas ham…Forrest was too ..he pulled the remaining ham from the bench …He has been known as the Hamburglar since then …love Gopher face hahaaa 🙂 hugs Fozziemum

We are rolling around with laughter over here, Miss JoAnn…sorry. I cannot believe all that mischief in one day?!? The buns…gone but I am sure Gambler had help eating them! The mess! And oh no….your Solvit bag! I hope that stood up to the mischief without a scratch (just some missing treats)> BOL We just love PIggy Gambler all covered in mud. He looks like he is having a blast! So much for trying to clean all day.

BOL!!! I didn’t think your dogs could BE any more brown! Can’t trust them alone indoors, eh? I’m about to start locking Chewy up when I leave the house. Or start putting my shoes in the closet when I take them off …

Oh, he is just too funny….he’s definitely the King of Mischief!! I think the muddy faces are definitely my favorite part. 🙂

Mom has those pampered chef cutting mats like you have but she doesn’t keep hers on the floor 😉 Bummer with Gambler. Mom is determined to give Bailie free reign and most of the time she does pretty well aside from the banana incident, and the day she shredded the catalogs. We hope she continues on the right path.

See they are just like kids lol, can’t be left alone. Oh we’re not alone~~there are other furkid parents that have children that love to get into big time mischief. We tell Booth, we’re leaving him on his honor to be a good boy~~doesn’t matter he has his own plan!!

OMD, that’s a lotta mischief in one day! (Makes me appreciate how mellow Rita is! She is also 3 now, but we’ve never needed to crate her. She gets free roam of the house when were gone but has never touched a single thing! She came to us that way!) Love the gopher chasing photos!

OMD Gambler… HOW can peeps get thingys SO wrong????????????? Here you were… running from window to window… TRYING to ALERT your mom to the Dreaded Sneak ATTACK of the Marauding SQUIRRELS… and she has the NERVE to BLAME this Horror ON YOU!!! Shameful. Just SHAMEFUL.
As fur the Gofer… WE say…. GO FUR IT buddy.

I know it is wrong to laugh but…BAHAHAHAHA!! You know I am always so blown away at how wonderful your dogs mind. It is fun to see that they cause havoc at times too. Pierre offered to come help you with the mole. He caught one and now thinks its his life’s mission!
