My mom was living in Europe at the time, so it wasn’t quite the same as living here, but still it was an unbelievable tragedy.
It was one of the worse days I can remember. My mom and brother live in Manhattan but I was able to speak to them before all the phone lines went down.
nearly all people know what they did that moment they heard or saw the horror … and I think that is good… it it is burnt in our memory we will remember and we will fight to let such horror never happen again… hugs to all who lost a member of the family and to all helpers who were there to rescue lives…
