Happy Saturday All!
Hope you all are enjoying your Christmas holiday and weekend. We at Sand Spring are. Tonight we are going to my brothers for Christmas and tomorrow we are having Christmas lunch with John’s family. We are blessed to have such wonderful families.
I didn’t decorate for Christmas this year but I had to bring out Norman’s Christmas tree and decorate that. I added a couple new items to his tree. I got a green plastic ornament and I placed some fur and ashes of Norman’s in it and tied it up with a ribbon I got from my pal Sue. Next to that ornament I hung Glory’s red girl puppy’s collar who passed away at 2.5 weeks of age. I then added a shotgun shell that has Norman’s ashes in it also which I tied up with a piece of twine from that same pal. Merry Christmas in Heaven Norman, may your star always shine bright!
Look at this great ornament I got from my friend Jayne! Norman is leading the pack up on top! Such a thoughtful gift that will stay out all year long.
I got a very special Christmas present in the mail from our pal Sue from Talking Dogs. Sue had decided to close her jewelry shop, before she closed it she made me a very special bracelet from the heart. She made me a Sand Spring Chessies charm bracelet with a charm and initial for each one of my chessies including Marie who lives across the pond. It is made with my favorite colors too. This is a very special gift that I will wear with pride and think of the special bond that internet friends can have. Peace and love to all my friends, may the joy of the holiday season be by your side.
Have a safe weekend all!
That bracelet is awesome! Just love it.
It is nice to spread Christmas over a few days. I love Norman’s tree and it has so many wonderful symbols of your love. Sue did a fantastic job on your bracelet. ♥
Your bracelet is beyond adorable-it’s always heartwarming to wear something that is so close to your heart. Hope you had a fabulous Christmas and the feelings of love of family continue throughout the holiday season! P.S. Love the family ornament. Now that my family has grown lately, we’re gonna have to have one of those made to commemorate the expansion. 🙂
I love your tree… it’s one we want to hug and I would place it next to my bed…. you got so special gifts, that’s just great!!!!!
Norman was a special pup.
What a beautiful bracelet…such a special gift! It looks like you had the most important Christmas decorations out.
We had a quiet Christmas day at home and then we were with my family on Saturday too…it’s always a happy time, family is definitely the best.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Did you not decorate on account of a crazy puppy?
