Nothing But Norman #134

Happy Saturday All!

Nothing But Norman

This is another picture that popped up on FB this week. It was 4 years ago I posted up this photo of Norman. See when Gambler was 8 weeks old Norman bite him pretty good in the head. Come to find out 9 months later when Gambler got his permanent teeth in that the trauma to the head while the adult teeth were developing caused them to not have the proper enamel on them. This would leave them open to abscesses. To correct this problem I had to have Gamblers teeth sealed at the UW Vet School in Madison, WI to the tune of $1000.00. So Norman was campaigning to raise some money since it was his fault.

You aren’t going to believe this, but the same sort of thing happened to my son! When he was a toddler, he fell and hurt his baby teeth We hurried to an oral surgeon and he promptly told us that my son’s permanent teeth had been damaged and would not have enamel on them. Sure enough, years later his two bottom teeth grew in without enamel! We had to have them sealed too. I still think it is crazy that permanent teeth can be impacted when baby teeth have just arrived. LOL!
