Happy Saturday All!
A sad week in the Chesapeake Community, we are loosing far too may Chesapeake’s as Norman has been busy welcoming all the burrheads home. This week my friends Rachel and Jonathan said goodbye to their girl Ellie. I met them at a yearly Chesapeake function called WI Chessie Days where Chesapeake’s and their peeps get together for a fun filled day. As of last year I was the new host for the WI Chessie Day. Ellie and Gambler hit it off so we joked later online about them being boyfriend and girlfriend. Chesapeakes have a way of pulling people together and making great friendships. Without our dogs I wouldn’t have gotten to meet and stay in touch with such wonderful people and their dogs. Will miss seeing Ellie at our next event but will know she will be looking down from above smiling. My deepest sympathy to Rachael and Jonathan.
I want to give out my sympathies to my friend Jayne who said goodbye to her mom today. Norman welcomes 4 legged’s and 2. May peace come to the family to know that their mom is no longer suffering and l
Dogs lives our too short…
Their only fault, really…
I’m so sad for their loss. It is never easy to say good-bye. ♥
I’m so sad that your friends had to go through such rough time… hugs to all who lost a friend or a family member…
It does seem like this year an extraordinary amount of our fur friends have passed on. It is so hard. Hugs to everyone!
Thank you, JoAnn. What a wonderful tribute! Ellie loved visiting her Wisconsin friends almost as much as ice cream! Many thanks to Norman for helping her out at the bridge. Xoxox
Deepest sympathies to the families and friends of those recently lost. 🙁
We too send our condolences. Too many pawsome dogs have left us lately and it hurts our hearts. ღ
Sorry to hear about Ellie and your friend’s mother.
