Happy Saturday All!

This week on facebook I posted up pictures of the gang along with pictures of what they were named from. Other chessie owners were doing this so I joined in and had a blast telling each ones story so I thought I would share the naming here.

HRCH Sand Spring Norm Of Caroway MH – Got his name from the Cheer’s character Norm. John said he wanted a fat lazy dog to hang out in the duck blind, Norm from cheers came to mind and Norman got his name. Norman was not a bit fat or lazy but he did mind his manners in the duck blind.

HRCH Sand Spring Hurricane Nellie SH – was a little spitfire when a baby so I named her hurricane Nellie. She was a hurricane then and she is still trying to strut her stuff at 12.

HRCH USJ UGRCH Sand Spring Ev’ry Paw’s A Winner MH CGCA THDN TT – was named after Kenny Rogers in the Gambler, since I like to Gamble I took a chance on Gambler and he has turned out to be a winner!

HR UCH Sand Spring No Gut’s No Glory SH CGCA THDN TT – was named when I was watching Lady Gaga sing Edge Of Glory and since I love anything patriotic she became Glory.

SHR UCH Sand Spring Pale Rider SPOT – John named her Preacher after his favorite actor Clint Eastwood in his favorite movie Pale Rider that he can recite.

Sand Spring Lethal Weapon – came with the name Riggs so he was named after the movie Lethal Weapon. Will he prove to be a lethal weapon, only time will tell.

Sand Spring Guilt By Association – was named by John after all the hoopla with the cop shootings and such, John went on a kick of getting t-shirts made that said “some are guilty” so Guilty got her name. Hope she proves to be NOT GUILTY.
