Happy Saturday Everyone!
The below picture I submitted to Retriever Journal as a subscriber photo. I had done it awhile ago so I totally forgot that I did it and forgot what photo and narrative I sent in. It was a bittersweet surprise when I got out magazine and saw it. Norman keeps popping in to say hi after he is gone which I am so grateful for.
I am joining Ruckus The Eskie for this Sepia Saturday blog hop!

It is so wonderful that Norman pops in when you are not expecting him…yes, bittersweet, but comforting too. The photos of his last pheasant hunt are such great memories to have.
Thank you. I hope my memories never fade.
I am a firm believer in animals communicating with us from the spirit world and am convinced that Norman is with you xoxo
I believe that also Caren, I hope he stays with me for a very long time.
I’ve got wet eyes too as I read about his final hunt. But it’s a wonderful tribute for a wonderful friend.
🙁 thank you for sharing our journey
What a lovely surprise. Glad he keeps checking in with you, to make sure you’re okay. 🙂
He does, he is a good furangle.
LOVE that Quote at the end !!!
Thanks guys for stopping by.
Hi Y’all!
That quote says it all! That’s why you are so sad and lonely when we choose to leave you on your own. We only hope we have taught you enough during our stay that the next friend you choose will have an even better life than we did, and our life was perfect!
Y’all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Hawk you always explain things so beautifully. You make me smile. I hope gman can live up to daddy norman.
What a beautiful quote!! Loved it!
And he keeps popping in to let you know he’s with you. So beautiful.

What a great way for Norman to be remembered. The photos are lovely and I’m sure his tail was wagging as he watched down on you finding his magazine picture. Have a wonderful weekend!
I thought so too, I forgot I had submitted this. Have a great weekend too.
Sweet Norman. Perfect in sepia tone.
He was my sweet boy, I miss him dearly.
I know what you mean. Pictures do help us stay connected, I feel.
That is just great and the sepia pics are great too!
Thank you Emma.
