This picture of Norman with this beautiful pheasant was taken on a pheasant farm hunt I went on with Norman a few years ago. I think he looks so regal holding that bird. The reflection photo is my favorite. I am so blessed to have these wonderful photos to look at and share my memories with you.

Now time to join Ruckus The Eskie for our Sepia Saturday post.

When Norman was a wee little lad we had 2 pet Raccoon’s Balky and Bigalow. He grew up with these guys and loved them as the coon loved to play with him. They all got along great. The coon would know the difference between Norman and other dogs that came by, they would growl and hiss when strange dogs would come by but not when Norman came by.

Great photo of Norman and the raccoon. It is amazing how, in the right circumstances, dogs cen be friends with just about any animal.

The last one would be a wonderful christmas card (maybe not for veggies lol ). It’s great that the coons and Norman were friends, I had no clue that coons would like a doggy :o)

I think so to Easy. It’s funny, everyone knows we hunt but some don’t like the dead animal cards so one year I did make two sets of xmas cards one for the hunters and one for the non hunters.

Oh, that’s so cool that Norman had some raccoon friends, and he was the only dog they liked!
I love the photos….the look on his face is so intense and so proud!

OMG the coon Norman story is the best! I am so sad I never got to meet him. Love the pictures with the pheasant. The colors are wonderful.
