Happy Saturday All!
Since I had a inquiry about using Gambler as a stud (Norman’s son) I thought I would post up pictures of Norman’s two litters. The first litter was when Norman was 4 years old to Abby, this is how I come about Nellie.
The second litter was when Norman was 10.5 yrs old to Fatty, this is how I came about Gambler.
For my sepia picture I chose this photo of Norman carrying two bumpers, this was his trademark. Since I posted up pond photos yesterday I thought I would show you a picture of our pond right after it was dug with Norman having fun in it. You can’t tell since this is a sepia photo but that is not grass he is walking on it is dirt from just being dug.

Mom’s first dog always had two tennis balls. I don’t think Mom even knew about bumpers back then! We feel sorry for the mom of Norman’s second litter. Who would call their dog Fatty? Hope she didn’t get a complex!
It’s great!!! Norman looks like the boss of the bay watch team :o) It’s amazing to see that all variations of colors are possible in one litter . My mom looked at me as she read “Fatty”… that screams for revenge, right?
Norman, you stud muffin you! Not too many dogs can sire a litter at the age of 10.5 years old!
Love & Biscuits,
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them
Norman was such a magnificent looking dog. I could never breed Basset Hounds, because I’d keep all of the puppies. *We have started Bentley on Castor & Pollux Ultramix Poultry & Grain Free food. Keep your fingers and paws crossed that it helps his allergies and ear problems.
Interesting!
And thanks for joining Ruckus and Earl & Ethel for Sepia Saturday!
