 Preacher put this Lime colored collar to the test this weekend when we had high temperatures and melting snow. There were many water puddles or more like mud puddles around our yard  after the snow melt so Preacher got good and dirty while wearing her new collar. I left the collar on her for 5 days before I took it off to wash it. It had repetitive boughs with mud, water and saliva from her and the other dogs.

After 5 days I took her collar off, grabbed some dawn dish soap and cleaned the collar. I first just used my hand to wash the collar then used a scrubby to get in the crevices. It was super easy to clean. You will need to scrub a bit longer on the buckle holes to get the dirt out of those holes but all in all very easy to clean.

The collar after it’s cleaning. Looks good as new! I really like how soft the collar is and the bone shaped buckle is really cool. The buckle and D ring are pretty heavy duty. This color really pops on Preacher’s dark coat and I can see it well when she is out and about outside so I know which dog is Preacher.

I give this collar 4 paws up for the rough and tough dirty dogs. I am actually going to buy 3 more collars for the others to wear when hunting season comes.

The 50-cm collar which is a size for a retriever dog is $14.49. Smaller sizes are less money and larger sizes are just a bit more.
