Roger and Riggs.
Last week we had some warm days so Roger and Riggs got out and trained with us. Riggs will be 2 in July of this year. He hasn’t had any hunt/hunt test training until now. He hasn’t been forced fetched so Roger has started him on that along with some short retrieves.

All in all Riggs is actually doing very well. He has the drive and desire to play this game he just needs more guidance which he will get. He’s a fun young man! I’m Glad he lives so close so we can watch his progress and be part of helping him achieve his goals. (The house way back in the picture is my house so you can see he lives very close, just across my field).

it’s great to watch him, he is a fab hunting pup. and I would like to live close to you too… imagine that… the fun would neeeeever end…
So like his daddy at that age. It took a while to convince Thunder that he had to bring the stuff back every time in training. Hunting no problem, but I guess he wanted to keep the fun of training to go on and on….
I’m sure Riggs is going to be fantastic! It is nice that you can watch his training.
I’m sure he will be great. He is still plenty young enough to learn.
He is such a good looking dog and looks so perfectly fit and healthy!
