The end of April I hosted the American Chesapeake Club WI Chessie Fun Day. Slammer was we weeks old at this time. My friend came and set up his lure course for the guests to do. Of course I had to try it with Slammer. Since he is young and his growth plates are not closed and he is still growing they took it slow with him. I just wanted to see if he would have prey drive for it.

This was a fun day for Slammer. He took to the course like he did it his whole life. Hopefully this will stick with him and we can do this next year. He will need to be at least one year of age to compete for titles in lure coursing. UKC and AKC offer lure coursing events.
