Last weekend was such a nice weekend I decided to take Glory and Preacher down to the pond to let Preacher swim. I thought I needed Glory there to help Preacher into the water or to be pick up dog when I tossed a bumper into the water and Preacher decided not to go in and get it. I was so wrong!
Look mom I can swim I don’t need no stinking pick up dog!
Big splash and keeps on going.
I can get this chuck it thing too, who said I needed a pick up dog to come with me??
Hi mom! I can beat you!
Maybe if I jump up I can launch out ahead of mom.
I got it! No problems with swimming.
Splash splash splash…..
Where is that darn rubber duck?
Ahhhh here it is, I found it.
Preacher did a excellent job, I couldn’t keep her out of the water. So glad to have these warm days in November to get Preacher used to swimming. She and Glory had a great time and didn’t even realize they were getting some really good exercise by the swimming they were doing. They thought they were there just to have fun!

The girls obviously had a wonderful time in the pond! Preacher looks as though she’s learning and lovin it~
Bravo Preacher! You are ready for the owlympig swim team! I rather watch you from a distance …. you are the navy and I’m the ground force :o)
You go Preacher – come out here and teach Jack how to swim, would you?
Winter, what winter? Enjoy every last minute.
That looks like fun! Paisley (Granddog) had her first try at jumping in the water to retrieve last weekend. She and my son were both so proud! Haha!
Wow, looks like your having a blast too!!!

How fun!
It’s so neat she gets to grow up with her dog mom! Loads of fun in the water too!
It is so nice to have gma, mom and daughter. I think Glory isn’t so happy at times as she always has a cling on around her neck.
Great job Preacher! It’s been a while since I’ve been by. How old is Preacher? She looks young.
Thanks for stopping by, Preacher is now just over 4 months. 🙂
those are some truly wonderful water shots! DakotasDen
Wow! What a fun day and such a brave little pup! Love these pictures, especially the one of both of them together.
Preacher is such a natural in the water….what fun!!
LOL love the puppy swim. It is great that she got so much swimming time this fall.
It’s amazing that your gang still gets to swim in the pond in November. How awesome! We still had a few days in the 70s until this week – then temperatures dropped quickly.
