Happy Saturday Everyone!
More edited pictures from my friend Nichole from Alred Photography.
Without Norman I wouldn’t have this wonderful family.
If Tears Could Build a Stairway
If tears could build a stairway,
and memories a lane.
I would walk right up to Heaven
And bring you back again.
No farewell words were spoken.
No time to say “Goodbye”.
You were gone before I knew it.
and only God knows why.
My heart still aches with sadness.
and secret tears still flow.
What it meant to love you-
No one can ever know.
But now I know you want me
to mourn for you no more:
To remember all the happy times,
life still has much in store
Since you’ll never be forgotten,
I pledge to you today-
A hollowed place within my heart
is where you’ll always stay.
Now for my Sepia Saturday photo brought to you by Ruckus The Eskie.
Norman and Brooke at the lake.
We are also joining up with The Pet Parade
Hosted by: Rascal and Rocco, Jan’s Funny Farm, Basil the Bionic Cat, Barking From The Bayou and Love Is Being Owned By A Husky.
Here is what Love Is Being Owned By A Husky (Jenna along with Melissa from Barking From The Bayou are the new co-hosts) says about the hop: So please feel free to link up and party with us!
Parade you fav pet photo’s , stories , ANYTHING you want! The only rule is . . . .
There are no rules!
And that’s the way we like it! Who needs rules at a party anyhow?
BUT it is always a good idea to link back to your hosts, and maybe even give them a follow!
Also, this hop consists mostly of kitties , there are a couple doggies that are involved, but the majority are kitties, so one of the reasons Melissa and are now co hosting is to let you all know that this hop is DOG FURIENDLY as well!

Today we are joining 2 Brown Dawgs for their This ‘N That Thursday’s blog hop!
This is what she has to say about the hop,
A little of this and a little of that and everything in between…
“This ‘N That Thursday is for anything you want! Maybe you want to post about unrelated topics, or each topic isn’t quite long enough to make up a whole post, or you have awards to share, or you have one long post…anything goes! So grab the button and join the hop!”
This has been a fantastic month for me and receiving awards. Last week I received another one from Lisa over at Dogs N Pawz.
I have not gotten this award yet so I am honored to have it. Thank you very much Dogs N Pawz.
She passed on to me the Super Sweet Blogger Award.
These are the rules:
Cookies or cake? Cookies, I love Snickerdoodles, Gingersnaps, Molasses and any other ones.
Chocolate or vanilla? Vanilla, I used to hate Chocolate but now I don’t mind eating it hear and there but would prefer Vanilla.
Favorite sweet treat? Donuts, love donuts even know they are so bad for you! When people bring them to work I eat at least 2 if not three!
When do you crave sweet things most? Knock on wood I am doing really good with craving sweets since on my life change diet. I now know how many calories are in sweets so I rather pass than give up that many calories.
Sweet nickname? Jojo sweetie pie, because I am sweet as pie!
My nominees for the Super Sweet Blogging Award are (some of you may have gotten this from Dogs N Paws, please accept it from me to as I thinks your blogs are super sweet too)!:
Last Saturday I took the dogs to Pardeeville lake to get some pictures of them in the lily pads. The pad flowers were in full bloom so I got some nice pictures. I got each dog out one at a time and took 300 photos. I picked some photos of each dog and put them together in this picture video that I added music to. Here it is:
Here are a couple photos that I really liked, you may have noticed them in the video but I wanted to really show them off so I am repeating them here.
Do you see Nellie’s little water friend?
Miss Glory.
Gambler having too much water splashing fun.
haha I got a flower on my head.
Norman has a flower on his back.
Is there something on my tongue?
So that wraps it up for today, why don’t you hop on over to 2 Brown Dawgs see what their up to and grab the badge and join the hopping fun!

Gambler says “whatcha doing?”
Nellie says “not in the lake sister!”
Which doggie do you think was the Mischief Maker in the lake?
Miss Glory couldn’t walk that whole what 4 feet to the shore there to poop up there and not in the lake. Nope she had a whoopsie daisy in the water.
Clear the lake, clear the lake this is NOT a Baby Ruth! This is the real McCoy!
For once it wasn’t Gman getting into Mischief, this time it was Glory and when she does it she does it big time.
So the lake mischief wasn’t done for the week. I took the dogs again to a different lake to get some lilly pad photos and guess what happened there? Not hard to guess, we had all kinds of whoopsie daisy’s. Monkey see Monkey do!
Don’t pee in my lake Gman, I don’t pee in your pool!
All this swimming makes me have to go!
Momma Nellie had to try it since it looked like so much fun!
Stay clear of Pardeeville lake for a bit!
This is a Blog Hop. Thanks to Alfie’s Blog, Snoopy’s Dog Blog , Luna, a Dog’s Life , and My Brown Newfies for setting up this hop. Please go to any of the sponsoring blogs to find out who else has been mischievous.

I took this picture this past week on our first trip to the lake for the year. When I got home and saw it I just loved it! Loved the way the water droplets are making swirls. This is Norman and he was just wading around in the water wagging his tail to beat the band. He is so happy all the time that tail never quits. I snapped this picture trying to get his wagging tail and I got a beautiful picture!

Spring is upon us here in Wisconsin. We are blessed that we live in a area where there are many lakes, marshes and rivers. So when spring hits us we are always driving around looking at these spots for cool ducks or other animals. Some ducks have better color of feathers in the spring than in the fall so it’s nice to see those birds in spring. The birds are getting ready to lay eggs and start a family so you see the ducks and geese paired up as well as big groups.
These Hooded Merganser pictures were taken 2 miles from my house on a river that flows close to our house property and close to where I own some hunting land.
The field in the back ground is my field. I own the field and the woods and only a small part of the marsh. The water that the geese are sitting on is owned by someone else and it is in a government program so they can’t make any changes to the water at all or put up permanent blinds or stands.
These Canvasbacks and Ringbills were on a lake called the Kingston Mill Pond. We do hunt on this lake on occasion.
And then there was lonely Mr. Muskrat busy eating.
That is the end of our wildlife cruise. Hopefully later I will be able to get some closer pictures of the ducks.
