Tasty Tuesday~Frosty Pumpkin Kong

I bought this Kong mold on ebay for little of nothing, shipping was more than the price of the tray. I was super excited to use it for the first time. I made Frosty Pumpkin Kong frozen treats in preparation for Nellie’s upcoming 10th Birthday on Oct. 7th.

Isn’t this the coolest?

Ingredients: Canned Pumpkin & Light Regular Yogurt

Mix pumpkin and yogurt together.

Fill mold with mixture.

Put in freezer for a couple of hours until set.

Serve to the pooches.

No pictures of the pooches tasting these frosty pumpkin treats as I am saving them for Nellie’s Birthday Pawty. More details next week.

Cool tray! We’ve made those pumpkin treats before, and the dogs love them. Sheba’s 10th birthday is next month too (later though)….our girls are really growing up, huh?

Now How will you know if they are GOOD if you don’t get to sample them before the pawty? We think you should have this batch NOW and tell “HER” to make a New Batch fur the big day…

We have this tray too, only we used peanut butter and banana in ours. Unfortunately, we found out that Riley is (for whatever reason) TERRIFIED of frozen treats – I think maybe he doesn’t like the sound they make when they move around on a plate/bowl?? I don’t know, he’s special 😀 I’m sure Nellie will be “brave” and enjoy those scary frozen treats 😉
