I was contacted by Ultra Oil For Pets and was asked if I would like to try out their product. Winter was almost over and I looked at the dog’s dry coat’s and said “why yes I would be glad to try it”. A sample arrived instantly.
This is what the company had to say about their product:
Born from the love of animals, Ultra Oil Skin & Coat Supplement is a pure gift from Mother Nature designed to alleviate the flaky skin, itching and excessive scratching that can result from deficiencies in a pet’s diet. This special formula of nutritional oils from Hempseed, Flaxseed, Grapeseed and Fish Oil provides the Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids pets need for healthy skin and shining coat. Added daily to a pet’s diet, Ultra Oil Skin & Coat Supplement provides the proper balance of nutrients for a healthy life.
Ultra Oil is the most effective way to relieve hot spots, allergic breakouts and other skin and coat irritations. Ultra Oil also relieves joint pain, dryness and excessive shedding – in addition to these other benefits:
- Heart healthy, immunity and overall organ function.
- Contains the crucial fat soluble vitamins, and minerals that are key to tissue repair
- Doesn’t have that stinky fish smell
- 100% Human Grade, and All Natural
- Cold, Virgin Pressed
- Non GMO
- Hempseed oil is often referred to as nature’s most balanced source of Omegas.
- Contains the full spectrum of healthy fats in the perfect balance. Omegas can’t be absorbed properly unless they have the proper balance of Omega 3,6 & 9. Fish oils are missing the proper balance of Omega 9.
We provide the best nutritional supplement made with the best ingredients nature can provide, helping each and every pet live a full, healthy life.
I read the label and for my gang who is about 70# each they needed 3 pumps once a day. I pumped it on their dog food and was leary if they were actually going to eat their food with oil on it. I was happily surprised when they all dug in and didn’t think twice about it.
I did this once a day for all three dogs until the bottle was gone. A 8-oz bottle lasted about three weeks. Not bad I thought for using it on 3 big dogs.
I liked the results I got from it. Glory had the worse dandruff and that all cleared up. Gambler and Nellie’s coats shinned and looked really good for being the end of the dry winter.
You can get Ultra Oil from their Ultra Shop .
16-oz for $25.99
32-oz for $32.99
1 gallon for $129.99
I wasn’t asked to do this review. I was asked to try Ultra Oil, I was compensated 1 8-oz bottle to try. I liked the results so thought I would do a review on it.

I like that it doesn’t has the stinky smell. I tried a salmon oil once and although Easy loves fish (even rotten and stinky) he refused to eat his food. Thanks for a great review, think we will try it :o) Have a tasty tuesday!
Jack gets hot spots sometimes in the summer, I may have to give this a try.

Thanks for sharing about this product. I have been reading about coconut oil being good for dogs and I do give Buddy some Omega 3 capsules everyday. I will have to do some research into this product. Thanks again for the review.
I have read many good things about hemp oil. I currently alternate pollock and salmon oil, but am seriously considering giving this a try.
I wish that I had known about this when I had Tucker, my Golden Retriever. He got horrible hot spots. Great review!
Nice! My Aussies have dry coats and skin. I might try this. Thanks for the great review!

Nice and shiny 🙂 @Slimdoggy what do you do to avoid the hotspots?
Sounds like a great product. We have been giving Freighter some coconut oil to help his coat and it is doing pretty well. This sounds like a good alternative.
That looks great stuff and we like it coz it doesn’t smell 🙂 Love all the photo’s guy’s.You always make us smile xxoxxx

We’ve been giving the dogs salmon oil sometimes, and Cricket’s coat has gotten so much softer since we have. But it seems to upset their stomachs a bit sometimes (a little diarrhea). I wonder if a different type of oil like this could make a difference.
