Tasty Tuesday~Yummy Human Treat

I made these muffins over the weekend and they are one of my favorites so I thought I would share them here.

I didn’t take pictures while I was making them because they are messy but you can enjoy the final pictures.

Cream Cheese Muffin Puffs

1/2 Cup Sugar

1 Teaspoon Cinnamon

1/8 Teaspoon Almond Extract

1/4 cup Melted Butter or Margarine

1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla

10 oz Can Hungry Jack Flaky Biscuits ( I used the extra butter ones)

3 oz Cream Cheese, cut into 10 cubes

Heat oven to 375

In a small bowl combine margarine and vanilla. In another bowl combine sugar, cinnamon and almond extract.

Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Press or roll each into a 3 inch circle.

Dip each cheese cube in margarine and then in the sugar mixture. Place cube in center of each circle.

Fold Dough over cheese, covering completely. Seal well, shaping into balls.

Dip each filled biscuit in margarine and then in the sugar mixture.

Place seam-side down in ungreased muffin cup.

Bake at 375 for 12-18 minutes or until golden brown.

Remove from pan immediately and enjoy the warm gooey goodness.

Try to wrap your head around this…Mom doesn’t like cream cheese! I mean really??? I think we dogs would like these, but there must be some reason they aren’t for us.
