The Good The Bad And The Ugly

This past week I have been hid away in the nursery with Glory and the puppies. Nellie, Preacher and Gambler have been able to run loose in the rest of the house as I didn’t want them to spend all their time in the kennel. I’ve had the door shut to the bedroom for the first 4 days to let Glory get comfortable with the puppies and not have to worry about the other dogs walking past her whelping box and upsetting her.

What I hope they are doing.

What I hope they are doing.

A few times I opened up the bedroom door and this is the site I saw. The other times I opened up the door this is what I saw.

Lipstick

Lipstick

Gambler digging into my purse on the counter and getting out my lipstick. Not sure if he or Preacher ate it and smeared it all over the dog beds.

All Gambler!

All Gambler!

This mess was all Gambler, he karate kicked the coat closet door open pulled out Preachers overnight bag and proceeded to wreck the whole works and eat all the treats. It was then I decided I needed to open the bedroom door and kinda watch what they were doing.

Can I come in please?

Hello, someone help me please.

Hello, someone help me please.

After about 20 times getting up and having to remove Preachers head from the gate I decided I would try them in the bedroom.

Hi Mom.

Hi Mom.

Preacher misses her mom and wanted to bring her a bone.

Gambler hiding.

Gambler hiding.

This was Gamblers way of trying to get close and get a peek at the puppies. The three dogs were spending their nights sleeping in the living room with John on the couch. They all have moved back into the bedroom and everyone is getting along just fine.

We are one week into the birth of the new puppies, they are growing like weeds and doing great.

It sounds like the dogs have taken over the place and you humans are lucky to still have a place inside! I’m sure it will get better now that they are all together.

As soon as I saw the eaten lipstick, I knew Gambler was up to his usual shenanigans! LOL Everyone looks good especially Glory and her puppies. Chessie puppies are just so darn adorable!

I will never get over the fact that Gambler is a mischief maker. He acts so obedient out in the fields. ROFL! The puppies are adorable. I can hardly wait to see what Preacher thinks when they start moving around more!

We’re glad it all went OK and that you don’t have to keep them separate anymore. I know if they’re like our crew, they just hate being left out of anything! The puppies are looking adorable!
