Glory was third dog out hunting at Loan Oaks Shooting Preserve. Pearl and Gambler  had their turn so this time it was Glory’s turn. We just hit the field and she was off with her nose to the ground, she was just a sniffing up a storm. We didn’t get very far and she flushed up her first rooster.

Fantastic photos JoAnn. Well done to the lovely Glory.
Thank you! Hooray to Glory indeed!
What wonderful pictures. I love the expression in the “no bird” one – classic
Thank you!
Wonderful pictures. Glory reminded me of Storm in that first set of pictures when hubby missed one that she flushed. 🙂
The lack of cover might not be good for the birds, but it she made for great pictures. 🙂
Thank you, Glory sure did take some nice pictures.
Wow Glory you had a great day so I know you had a lot of fun. There was also some great team work!! I always wonder what the dog is thinking when he/she does their job and the shooter misses !???
Sometimes our dogs think they don’t need teamwork, they hunt and don’t listen, they think they can do it by themselves sometimes…lol
I often wonder too what they think, expecially when they turn around and look at me and go wth? when I miss!
