The Barks:
Not too much going on around Sand Spring. It is still winter like here. The snow is crunchy and is hard on the dogs paws, it is still freezing cold here with high winds and still snow up to your bung hole. We did manage to get out this past Sunday and have some fun with the pink bumper. The dogs were super excited, the cold and crunchy snow didn’t bother them one bit.
Miss Glory
The Gman
Miss Nellie
At times Nellie is still puppy like it is hard to believe this coming October she will turn 10.
The Bytes:
A quick video of Glory and MK playing and Gman bombing the fun.
John was goofing around with the dogs Monday night (while I was out of town), first Gambler took his head and slammed it into Johns eyebrow while he was bending over to get a toy. Then Glory was screwing around doing turns and such and wacked him in the eyebrow again. This is the outcome that I saw when I came home Tuesday pm.
Last but not least guess what photo shoot the gang had for a upcoming day in March?

Looks like the dogs beat up the human again…oh dear! We don’t mind the snow, but we are at -15 again this morning actual temp. It is just too cold to be out and have fun and that really stinks. Keep playing like a pup with that pink bumper!
absolutely love your photos!!
BaaaWaaaah Dawgs TWO Peep… ZERO.
We are getting Sick of all this COLD and SNOW on Our hill also. AND we Hear that MORE is on the way this weekend.. GACK YUCK BRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. WHEN will Spring be here?
I like the eyes of Nellie in the last picture, LOL. Sorry for your husband’s eye, hope the eyeshadow will disappear soon ( if he would be a girl he could wear the same make up on the other eye). It’s unblievable what hard heads dogs can have, I’ve got Easy’s head on my chin once , that was like a classical knock out :o)
OMG you made me laugh out loud when you said bunghole. I love you!!
Loved the photo of Nellie with the WIDE eyes. Poor John, that must have really hurt!!
Can’t wait to see what your St.P day photo shoot turns out to be.
Thanks for joining the blog hop!
Really like the first picture of Miss Nelly … hard to believe she is almost 10 since she has a puppy sparkle in her eye in this picture. It looks like everyone had a really great time playing in the snow.
Ouch … poor John. My hubby got a shiner playing with the dogs once. So funny explainging to people … my dog did it, lol.
Looking forward to seeing your St. Patty’s day photos. It is one of our favorite holidays since husband and me met at a St. Patty’s day party many moons ago.
Hi Y’all!
What are y’all gettin’ even with your papa for? ‘Cause he let your mama go off without you?
St. Pattty’s day won’t be much here ’cause my Humans have a full day of appointments and will be exhausted when they come home.
Y’all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Wouldn’t it be great if humans got as excited about snow–day after day, week after week, month after month–as the dogs do? Loved the Gman video bomb, and the dogs sure look proud of their daddy damage in that second-to-last photo!
Glory and MK are having a nice little game of grooming and a little bat the face and BOOM! G’Man just bounces in – he is too funny. Can’t wait to see the ST. Paddy’s outfits!
Oh no! Poor John. Bet that hurt! The dogs look like they are loving the snow!
Luke has made my hubby bleed a few times, but no black eyes (yet….lol). I’m glad you’ve still been able to get outside playing. Our snow has gotten hard and crusty too, and Sheba has trouble walking in some areas. Plus sometimes the ball bounces on the hard snow and out of the dog pen….Cricket will not rest until I let her go get it!
It looks like St. Patty’s Day is coming!
Thanks so much for joining Barks and Bytes…I would say John got the bytes part of it. 🙂 Looks painful. Hope it heals soon. Love the pictures of the dogs playing in the snow. Our yard is now mostly ice and no fun at all. 🙂
Nellie is so cute in the video with MK!! Sorry about the eyelid! Have a great weekend ahead 😉
Ouch! I hope John’s eye heals quickly. The pics are great of the dogs playing in the snow. Hopefully, you can get out again soon!
