Does your pet have bad breath, want to make it smell minty clean why not give TropiClean Fresh Breath Water Additive a try, I did.
Glory had bad breath in Saskatchewan, the bed we stayed in was very small so Glory was right in our faces breathing on us as we slept. So I was happy to see that Chewy.com made a delivery when we were gone and TropiClean Fresh Breath Water Additive was waiting for the gang to try.
TropiClean Fresh Breath Water Additive For Dogs, 16 or 33.8-oz bottle
Until pets learn to gargle, they’re prone to bad breath. Unfortunately bad breath means bad bacteria, and that causes many dogs and cats to develop oral disease by the time they reach their third birthday. TropiClean Fresh Breath Water Additive is a safe, natural additive you squirt in your pal’s water bowl each morning. It removes plaque and tartar, eliminates harmful bacteria in the mouth, and gives your pet pal 12 hours of breath so fresh you won’t mind the face licks.
Key Benefits
- Simple to use
- Reduces plaque and tartar
- Reduces risk of periodontal disease
- No brushing required
- All-natural formula with aloe and green tea

Great review! I’ve wondered about this, but I have 3 big dogs like you.
We can’t do the water additive thing because three dogs and two cats drink from two bowls and as soon as they are about half gone, Mom cleans the bowls and changes the water so we have fresh. I guess for one small dog or a couple cats it might be more efficient.
Thanks for the great review! I often wonder about these kinds of products, and as you say, with large dogs it is rather expensive. But~~for sure the “Team” looks as though they approve~
I heard about this product and wondered if it actually worked. I’m glad it made the SS gang’s breath minty clean…I wonder about the effects on tartar if used over a prolonged period. Great review! Happy Tuesday!

I have used something similar to this before, but not this brand.
I noticed a small difference, but nothing major. I have not heard of this one before though, thanks for sharing 🙂
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
do you think it’s strong enough to remove the smell of sardines too? be careful when you plan to cut the bone in three parts, I still have the scar on my hand as I tried that :o)
Interesting. If my little Chewy was my only dog, I think I’d be willing to try this. Seeing as they all drink out of the fish and duck ponds, it’s probably not a good investment here.
We tried this before and noticed a small improvement with Atka’s breath. However, Mauja the diva didn’t want to drink the tainted water 😉
We have heard of this one… it sounds super… butt we still think BRUSHING is a good thingy…
We love the idea of it being so EASY to help with stuffs… BETWEEN Brushings…though…
Chewy.com is the BESTEST EVER… We LOVE THEM… THAT is where we have been buying ALL of our Kibble and Canned foods since BEFORE Ernie came…3 years ago… and we KNOW how EASY and FAST… and ECONOMICAL it is to buy from CHEWY.COM.
we liked it a lot too
That sounds like a good way to enjoy some fresh breath! ☺
Pretty cool idea! Drinkable mouth wash pretty much!! Nothing completely takes the place of a little scrubbing it sounds like!
I kind of liked the super sudsy version. But then again I’m a bit of a booze hound and I think it might have reminded me of beer. 😉 Great review!
Great idea! If I didn’t have 3 big dogs I would try it, but it’s a little expensive for us right now!
Is this one safe for cats too? I’ve wanted to try something like this, but since the dogs and cats share water dishes I have to be sure it’s OK for cats too. I didn’t see MK in there drinking or playing in the bubbles….LOL!
Great review. We’ve never tried the water supplement, but we have had the gel thing you squeeze into their mouths… not fans AT ALL of that… Might give this a bash though!
Hugs, Carrie and pups x
Interesting idea and great review. We change out our water fairly often. I am not sure it would last even a week in our house.
