Glory’s visit didn’t go so well, she was having none of it and had to make a mean face.

Some black and white photos I took while in Saskatchewan this past week.

Nellie was laid to rest on March 16, 2017. She’s been hanging out in our living room by Norman’s memorial. Since this weekend is Memorial Day weekend and we remember those who gave their lives for us which my dad was one of those people I thought it was only fitting that Nellie be put to rest at her final resting place by my dad. My dad isn’t the only one at this special place, my mom my dads mom and dad, Norman and various other animals along with my best friend Susie are all resting in this remote secret location. I go here to think and just be alone.
I never opened Nellie’s cremation box until yesterday. I took some of her fur and her ashes and spread them in the same place I spread everyone else. John and I cleaned up the memorial. I feel Nellie is with all my loved ones and is watching me from above.
Thank you dad and all the other soldiers for your time in the service. Peace to all!

I had to share with you my plant that bloomed for the first time since I’ve had it. I’m not sure what kind it is but think some sort of Easter Cactus. I got it from my mom over 25 years ago. I actually thought it was ugly because it was just green with long vines on it that would poke the heck out of me when ever I watered it or transplanted it. Last year I moved it to a new location in the back bedroom because I was sick of looking at it. A few weeks ago I went to water it and low and behold a small bud appeared, I was super excited. Then Friday I went to water it again and holy cow look what that little bloom did! Plus there are three to four more blooms. The ugly duck turned into a beautiful flower now.
I wonder if I’ll have to wait another 25 plus years before it blooms again.

I’ve shown many pictures in front of these rocks, it is the landscaping where I work. I just love taking pictures here, so when I brought Gambler to work with me last week I had to snap some pictures since the bushes are just starting to get their leaves and pretty color.
National Therapy Animal Day
It is also #nationaltherapyanimalday so thank you to all the therapy teams out there spreading the joy and love. Gambler, Glory and Guilty are part of my pet therapy team. We love the work we do!

Yesterday I took Gambler and Glory to Veterinary Village’s breeders health clinic to have their eyes CAER for the year. I pulled up and was greeted by this big steel dog and a little kitty. They are awesome yard art so of course I had to get some pictures.
They both passed their CAER eye tests so we are happy campers.

Gambler had a great therapy visit with the kids this past Friday. He enjoys it so much and the kids enjoyed seeing his Valentine’s outfit.
Since Valentines Day is right around the corner I’m going to share some Black and White photos.
Have a great Sunday!
