Snapper and I completed the AKC Star Spangled Scurry 5K, this will have us be eligible for the AKC Fit Dog Bronze title when I submit the paperwork. The others thought the picture was for them. They were the cheering squad. Cooter could have cared less!
His daughter ran her first 3 champion events passing each one. She skipped working dog class and went right for the big guns.
Snapper had a great weekend at the North America Diving Dogs – NADD event at the Kettle Moraine Dog Show. She needed two more jumps in the senior division to complete her title. The dock was a little different than she used before so it took her a bit to jump long. So we needed to go back I. Sunday to finish up and that she did. Pending approval she will have her DS title. Thanks to North Central Mobile Dock for an awesome event. The two peeps running the dock were so wonderful to jump under. Very patient and kind to each and every person. Now onto shed dog.
Thanks goes out to the Manitowoc Kennel Club for hosting today’s Farm Dog Certified test. Thanks to the judges and volunteers that ran a great efficient test. Snapper had two qualifying passes so pending AKC approval she has achieved her title.
Pending AKC and UKC approval Snapper knocked out four titles in one day. SPOT-ON, Trick Dog Novice, Canine Good Citizen Advanced and Canine Good Citizen Urban. She’s getting to be a respectable young lady.

It’s official, Snapper got mail. She only needs 254 therapy visits and 46 more titles/certifications to be as good as her momma. She has big shoes to fill.

Snapper had a great first UKC Dock Jumping event. Host club was WI FIRST UKC Dock Jumping Club WI Splash Punks. Anne and Conrad did an excellent job today. Event went great. Thanks to judges Calla and Michaela for spending your day with us. Had to coax Snapper off the dock a few times then she thought she knew what she was doing then she had enough and couldn’t finish the final round. She jumped a couple jumps in Novice and Juniors.
