The gang was super excited to get to try the Greenies I got. I think they could smell them through the bag and I got the bag out and they just went nuts.

I’ve never tried those. What do they taste like? I won’t touch anything that has peanut butter, ginger, or anything sweet! Woo!

  2. Nailah Bone

Great review! 🙂 I really appreciate it when people are thorough! Looks like your dogs really love their greenies! I’ll have to look into getting some for Nailah!

Do they actually last a while and make the dog chew on them? The only reason I’m asking is because I have seen other people use similar products that their dog was able to chew a few times and swallow. I figured that it really didn’t do anything for their pets teeth.

Chad, it depends on the dog. Gambler and Nellie took their time which wasn’t really much time at all say a couple of minutes but Glory gobbled hers down very fast. Some dental products are impregnated with stuff that sticks to the saliva and when the saliva is on the teeth you get the benefits that help cut down on bacteria on the teeth hence cut down on the tarter buildup.

Great review! Dental hygiene is very important! I bought Greenies once or twice before but it’s been years. Petal has never had one before because we usually buy Zuke’s Z-Bones, but we may not be buying Zuke’s anymore. I’m going to look into Greenies again. Thanks for sharing your review! 🙂

Looks like all of your dogs enjoyed the Greenies! We haven’t purchased Greenies for the cats in a long time. Cinco really liked them, but Manna didn’t care for them at the time. I might just have to try them out on her again 🙂

Some precious pictures of Nellie on the post today. 🙂 I would be afraid our maniacs would not chew those. We used to give those to our golden and he didn’t chew them. He was not as big a piggy as the brown dawgs. I have to be careful what I give them as chews. Someday I will have normal chewers…probably not!

Great review….I especially love the close up photos of each of them. They really enjoyed those Greenies! We’ve never actually tried them….anything long lasting tends to get fought over around here (the beagles), so I hesitate to get them. I know they could also use the extra help with their teeth though so I still think about maybe trying them.
