This is the last post that I found sitting in my drafts folder. I bought this Dirty Dog Doormat early spring also as I wanted to get something that I could put in the kennels in the car to help keep the water and dirt to a minimum. I had great reviews on these mats from other chessie owners so I bought three.
I put the mat down on the floor it wasn’t long Glory and Gambler had to check it out and sat right down on it. I have to confess they loved laying on them so much that I only took one out the the car kennel and the other two are in my living room. The dogs think it is great to lay on while we are hanging out watching TV. I have washed them many times and they have held up really nicely. I do like the one in the car as I used it all summer long when training Gambler. It contained the water and dirt nicely. I would defiantly get more of these. I bought this on amazon.
It does look like a comfy rug.
We have a large size version at the cabin in front of the door and it catches sand, snow and water. The larger size is more difficult to wash though due to the size.
that’s a comfy mat to watch TV :o) and now it is proven: dogs can read… they egg-sactly placed their butts on the paw :o) pawsome :o)
Isn’t it fun when you get something and then it turns out to be used for something completely different? Love that your babies love to lay on it!

Love your version with the paw-we found one similar (without the adorable paw print) and you’re right, it does do a terrific job containing dirt and moisture. Hope it holds up this winter, I’m tired of mopping floors every other day when the weather turns wet. š

WE have one of these in our back hallway as you go into the kitchen. Won it almost 3 years ago and it has held up beautifully and really does catch a lot of dirt. Washes up nicely
