One should always take a break from serious training and just have some fun! That’s what pretty much happened this week. I was gone three days so yesterday was the first day I was home to do some training. I took G & G to my friends property and put out some blinds on the water. I ran 4 blinds with each dog and then it was time for some fun. Both dogs love to jump off the pier. Gambler is much better at it than Glory. I think it is because he has a different build then Glory and so that makes him spring up and really get the distance. Glory doesn’t know how to spring up, she is kinda flat when she takes off. Nontheless they both have a ball and it is good exercise to run, splash in the water and swim back to shore to do it all over again.

Oh this made me happy!! Just shared the videos on Dakota’s fan page and tweeted and pinned!! FANTASTIC!! Have a great day! Barks and licks and love, Dakota and Caren
I love how enthusiastic they are about jumping into the water! Barley will tentatively stick a toe in, but I can’t imagine her ever jumping right in for anything!
Wow! Those are some high flying Chessies! You couldn’t pay this terrier to jump off a perfectly good pier into…GASP…water. BOL Happy weekend, Gang!
Oz
Just beautiful! I know two dogs that would love to join you!!
The pier jumping looks like so much fun! Love the videos… and the splash!
This is definitely one of my favorite posts you’ve done – seeing the pups fly is awesome!
Great shots!
We found you through the See Beautiful hop today!
We could watch the pier jumping all day, how fun. What a great way to stay fit in the summer! Thanks for joining the FitDog Friday blog hop!
yes. that’s a 10! they had the best chance for a gold medal at my OWLYMPIGS!
Love the videos – Gambler gets some pretty good air under him doesn’t he. Glory doesn’t do too bad either…Jack would belly flop.
LOL great action shots!
Glory figures why waste a sping because I have seen her leap and it is pretty darn good…lol. Gman is a good leaper too. Have a wonderful weekend!
haha! Love the videos and the action shots!!! Nice job!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
It is a great way to stay fit. Delilah likes doing this as well, but since she had her back issues, I don’t let her do it.
Your guys look like they are having fun with it!
So much happiness! I’ve often wondered if Mauja or Atka would jump off a dock.
Oh, we see so much beautiful in that too. Thank you so much for associating that moment with a see beautiful one! We appreciate it!
Love Glory’s pretty pointed toes on that third jump. She’s ready for the Summer Olympics. 😉
I have always wanted a dog that loves the water. I hope one day is to live close to a lake or ocean where my dogs could enjoy the water regularly. I think that Sophie would love to jump off a dock if we spent enough time around one. Your dogs look like they are really enjoying themselves.
I wish Ash would jump like that! She will swim but she has to walk down the steps to get there. I have never been able to get her to jump.
Those action shots are great, that first picture is the epitome of a happy dog.
ahh, looks like they had a blast. It does look like all the running and jumping would keep them in good shape. Nothing better than a tired happy dog 🙂
WOW!!!! Lots of Golden WOOFS!!! So awesome. Happy Seeing Beauty. Golden Woofs
If their “careers” weren’t already in hunting, they would have done great in the Dock Dogs competitions!
