This week was hunt test training training training. Since Gambler didn’t fair to well with last weekends hunt test we have been busy training him for his hunt test tomorrow. This means that Glory gets trained too. She doesn’t get to compete yet since she is just getting over her heat cycle and you can’t run in a hunt test if you are in heat so she gets to just train. We trained in our hay field that is quite tall so they got their exercise pushing through the cover.
Here are some of the pictures I took.
The gang has also been swimming to keep in shape. What has your gang been doing to keep in shape?

Great to see that you are joining FitDog Friday! With my leg injury I couldn’t do much but we are getting back into the off leash walk saddle.
Gambler we all cross our paws for tomorrow. Go buddy! We try to work together every afternoon. But it’s not easy to stick it out neither for Easy nor for me :o) Good luck for tomorrow!
We play ball, we lap circles around the yard thinking there must be an intruder, play tag with each other and enjoy walks.
I hope he does better tomorrow…sure looks like you got some good training in. Love the photo os them sitting in the tall grass. Such a classic retriever photo. Thanks for joining the Hop.
Great pictures!
Swimming here, too!
Those photos are beautiful. The long green grass makes for a beautiful surrounding. I hope he does well with his hunt test. They are both gorgeous.
Oh I just LOVE that first photo!!!!!!
So beautiful and happy looking!
All of your photos are great of course, but that is my fav!
Good luck with the training!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Such great action shots! Good luck to Gambler.
Those are such great photos. I’m sure this weekend will be a success. One question, what is that attached to his collar?
Great pictures! Looks like a lot of fun 🙂
Good luck on the test tomorrow. Remember, the dog will do his best, but it is all the spirit of working together and fun of it all that counts. Best of luck! We are doing our ORT tests July 2, so we are working towards that again. I’m glad I have one of three done.
Love the photos! We’d love to do some swimming too. Just as soon as Rocco is fully recovered from his neuter surgery, we’re going to hit the pool!

I the one who has shape problems, but the dogs and I are trying to jog more (for me) to get into shape. Mort actually needs to put on weight after surgery – in general he eats about double the amount for a dog of his size to keep weight on because he runs around so much, sports, etc. So activity isn’t a concern for him 🙂 I wish I had his issue!
You got some really good photos there! *waggy tail* I’ve been swimming too, and worked on some nose work exercises.
Good luck to Gambler 🙂 our boys have been vegetating by the fire…tomorrow will be burn off day and so swimming in the dam and general shenanigans 🙂 Fozziemum
It looks like they had a great time with it. Hope it pays off for Gambler!
Wonderful pictures. I really hope the training pays off for you this weekend. 🙂
