Gambler ACC Bulletin

RO3 USJ HRCH U-GRCH Sand Spring Ev’ry Paw’s A Winner MH RN THDA CGCA CGCU  TT TKA FDC SPOT-ON “Gambler” was born on 05/13/11 in a litter of 8 out of HRCH UH Hope Springs Dowry HRC500 MH44 QAA       &         HRCH Sand Spring Norm Of Caroway MH. He was the pick of the litter to be the next stud dog at Sand Spring Chesapeakes. He was a handful from the start (didn’t get the nickname “the terrorist” for nothing) all the way up till he died at just shy of 14 years. He was trained by JoAnn; he was the first dog I trained myself and with the help of my friends and husband he went a long way in life. He made training easy; he was my first dog to venture outside of hunting tests to other venues. As you can see, we accomplished many titles in different venues showing he was a very versatile dog. He was fun to compete with, we have many memories of the funny stuff he did while competing, he was the biggest clown around. He also had a serious side of him when we were doing our pet therapy work. Put that therapy collar on him and he was a changed guy. He brought so many smiles to kids, adults and seniors with his 170 visits. He was also  R.E.A.D. certified so children got to read to him. When he was not performing, he was hunting. 8 trips to Saskatchewan, trips to Michigan, hunting for a guide, hunting at the pheasant farm and WI hunting seasons since he was little up until he died. He lived a great long life and left us like the day he joined us with joy and happiness in his eyes. Run free buddy hope there is an endless supply of chapstick where you are. 5/13/11 – 03/10/25.
