Hair, Hair Pet Hair Every Where’s ~ Infographic On How To Remove It

I was contacted by Sara over at Neatorobotics and asked to share their infographic on How To Remove Pet Hair From Every Surface. I am passing this infographic along as I found some neat tips in it that I didn’t know would work. I liked the tip about putting white vinegar in the wash to help remove the hair from clothing. Nothing I hate more than little hairs poking me when embedded in my clothing. Hope you find this as useful as I did.

Some good tips here. Since our boy Booth is a walking hair bomb I found that the fastest, cheapest way to get hair out of and off anything, is leather gloves! Just wipe over the area and 🙂

I will try the trick with the pumice stone…Easy’s hairs stick in the car seats like needles… they are hoover-resistant and I started to get them with a tweezer. I gave up after an hour :o( the next car has leather seats and when I have to eat Mac&Cheese for lifetime to pay for that :o)

These are great ideas..i know a pair of rubber washing up gloves that are damp is great for wiping a cat who has a dislike of being groomed..a trick we used at the shelter…they think they are getting a pat and the fur sticks to the damp glove 🙂 the vinegar tip is awesome..as i hate those sticking in furs hahhaha 🙂 hugs Bev xx

We have mainly Kuvasz and cat hair around, which is soft and doesn’t embed. The rubber glove is Mom’s favorite tool for removing fur from anything like clothing, couch, car, etc.

I love the white vinegar trick – I will definitely have to try it out. We have such a problem with dog hair on our clothes – and the lint roller only removes a little. I’m pretty sure I don’t own one item of clothing without it!! Thanks for sharing.

My mom found a post that said spraying starch (like for ironing clothes–not the cooking kind) on your car upholstery before vacuuming helps get rid of the hair, too. We tried it on my car recently and it was awesome!

What great tips, thanks for sharing and joining the blog hop. I did not know the trick about the white vinegar. I tend to get little hairs on the inside of my clothes and they irritate the crap out of me. I’m constantly picking at them and I lint roll my clothes on the inside!
