How To Stay Fit In Cold Temps~Fitdog Friday

How To Stay Fit In Cold Temps you ask the SS gang? They stay fit by playing with their outside toys when there is snow on the ground and it’s cold outside. When it is cold they don’t think about how cold it is because they are running around playing, chasing, retrieving but most of all playing keep away from the one who doesn’t have the toy. In cold conditions you need to do short periods of play and have them come in to warm up. If it was up to the SS gang they would stay out for as long as they can. You do need to be careful of slippery area’s when playing in the cold and snow.

Here are the pictures of the SS gang’s fun in the snow.

Nellie just loves the puller toy, she will play by herself with it. She will run around with it, she will flip it up and shake it, she will play footsie with it all burning calories as she plays.

Gambler wanted to play with the jolly ball and would race around to keep it away from the girls. Glory did manage to get the other jolly ball so she could have some fun too.

oh I would love to join you! butt I see the snow on your face… is it allowed to wear a sweater or is that silly, because real heroes play nekked in the snow ?

NICE series! (Great job with the photo grids with different colored frames, too, by the way) Y’all are staying fit in the cold! *wags* – Gilligan from WagsAhoy.com

I love these pictures! Barley loves to play with her toys in the snow, too! She’s right there with your gang about wanting to stay out forever, so I have to make sure to keep a close eye on her, so she doesn’t stay out for too long!

They really do love that Jolly Ball, don’t they? I am going to have to find one that Bentley can carry, but not trip over. BOL! The snow looks like so much fun.

It sure looks like they are having fun. My guys don’t play out in the snow with toys, they just never have. But Sampson loves to run and catch snowballs. Delilah is more of an indoor girl, like her mama.

They’re having so much fun! We won a puller, but I hadn’t gotten it out yet since I didn’t want Luke jumping too much, but I see they can have fun without jumping!
We had the Jolly Ball romp n roll, which has a rope in it and of course Luke and Sheba shredded the rope in no time. I’m so glad you showed this, because I just ordered the type that you have which should hold up much better!

Oh dogs and the love of those Jolly Balls. Booth loves his just like the gang does. Outside, snow and Jolly Ball = Booth is one tired boy at the end of his day~

    Hi Y’all!

When my Human got me that’s all I knew how to do, play “keep away”. Even when the human threw a ball or bumper, I’d never return it!

The silly human just was no fun and wouldn’t chase. What she did do was teach me to return it so she could throw it again.

Keep away is fun with other dogs, but for some reason you humans don’t enjoy it! and my human needs the exercise as much as I do.

    Y’all come on by,
    Hawk aka BrownDog
